Acacia concinna is abundantly available in southern Asian rainforests. The fruits of this plant were employed as cleansing agents various herbal shampoos and used an expectorant traditional treatment. pods contain acacic acid based saponins. holds the surfactant property due to presence saponins it ideal use skin transdermal preparations. However, details dermal toxicity are still not reported. aim study was investigate vivo acute extract at a dose 2,000 mg/kg body weight Wistar rats. According OECD Guidelines 402 for protocols, examined To determine median lethal (LD50) extract, weight, likelihood death, general indications, behavior activity measures monitored over course 14 days. All animals treatment group euthanized end study. LD50 found be >2,000 weight. There significant increase (p<0.05). No mortality recorded days period. A single 2000 didn’t produce any toxic signs animals. had no effects like mortality, clinical signs, changes, gross findings female rats Subsequently, preparation can natural or excipient pharmaceutical dosage forms.&nbsp
